My Background

Upon obtaining my B.A. in Social and Cultural studies I began exploring passions in alternative medicine, organic gardening and world travel. When I returned to the United States, I started working with children with emotional difficulties at a day treatment center. This led me to a career in psychology. In 2006, I obtained my M.S. - Applied Psychology and have been working in community mental health and private practice for the past eight years. In 2009 I completed authoring and independently published a children's wildfire healing book, Shadowchaser of the Siskiyous. I obtained my LPC in 2011. I consulted as a Child Developmental Specialist with Head Start from 2015-2016.
